Alpha Gamma Xi Military Sorority, Inc.
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. was founded January 1, 2014 in Covington, TN. The founders of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. envisioned a sorority determined to serve the veteran community and support its members through continued guidance, development and sisterhood. What sets Alpha Gamma Xi apart from other organizations is the dedication to serve the community at large, the veteran community, and the continued dedication of its members to commit to the programs and initiatives set forth by the founders.
Alpha Gamma Xi provides programs and initiatives to the community and its members for the sole purpose of enriching the community. Service members of the United States Armed Forces around the world have been touched by sexual assault, domestic violence, and suicide, and Alpha Gamma Xi seeks to educate the veteran community through our outreach initiative S.W.A.N.S. Supporting Women And Nurturing Survivors.
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. hopes to further make a difference in the lives of veterans and other service members through the bonds of our 5 Pillars of Purpose; Service, Sisterhood, Stewardship, Scholarship and Solidarity and continue our enrichment of those around us with our veteran initiative S.H.E.R.O. Sorors Helping to Excel and Restore Others.
No woman veteran should be left struggling or alone, and through its programs, and its 5 Pillars of Purpose, the Sorors of Alpha Gamma Xi aspire to be the example among military sororities that others seek to exemplify.
